Mrs Rowland or M 'am as she was known to all the girls that went through the doors of the Girls Venture Corps, was the inspiration behind the achievements of many of us who gained our Duke of Edinburgh's awards. Many fond memories of our time spent in the Corps include the days spent flying, camping and getting ready for festivals. Oh, the practising she put us through! M 'am certainly knew how to achieve results.Sadly we will be unable to attend on Wednesday but our thoughts will be with you all. Thea and Ann.
